nsik.net the 21st Century name for ASH Associates the IT recruitment consultants a UK employment agency who first began hard day at the office ash-associates.com IT Recruitment Consultantstrading in May 1989 and is now a member of the TOGA Group Partnership. The original concept was to deliver a personal service and although we have grown to include a number of support staff (All office staff based at our other offices in Christchurch) we have stayed true to this original concept. As a UK employment agency we specialise in employment in the UK. The recruitment of software engineers and programmers for the real time, computer IT and Internet markets. We concentrate only on PERMANENT positions and candidates seeking those positions. NB: Our involvement in the CONTRACT market is now essentially limited to IT Consultants for the UK Government Markets. Our general involvement in the contract market ceased in January 2001..

Senior Recruitment Consultants James Hunt and Ron Cook are responsible for Software Engineering and IT Consultancy Recruitment. All enquiries re. the day to day management of nsik.net, Advertising etc. should be directed to James. All invoices/payments are first approved by James but all payments come directly from our offices in Christchurch. Enquires to our Christchurch office will be delayed by up to 3 days unless the PO Box address is used.

James specialises in High Technology software engineering positions and recruits primarily in the Control Engineering, Data Networks, Internet, Mobile Telecommunications and 3D Graphics environments. He also has involvement in Government Contractual positions.
key skills: software and hardware design particularly for real time Control Systems and now the Internet. Technical support mainly for PC environments, networking and telecommunications.
Ron Cook
Ron (See picture above - a very good likeness) specialises in the real-time software design markets which includes Control Engineering, Graphics, Imaging, Telecommunications, Internet etc. He also has involvement in Government positions.
key skills: computer and communications hardware support. Mainframe and PC environments, networks and telecommunications support. 14 years in recruitment consultancy including 3 years in recruitment of support engineers.

PC building

With our years of experience in both software and hardware development it was easy for us to assemble computers for our own use. As is usual word gets around and we ended up assembling computers for our friends, relatives and their friends and associates. This is now growing into a full business called LifeStyleComputers a member of the TOGA Group Partnership http://www.lifestylecomputers.co.uk). Concentrating on the local market (Ferndown, Bournemouth and Poole) we build PC's for business and the home specialising in small form factor PC's such as the Shuttle and Ideq which we consider to be some of the most stylish PC's to be found outside of the MAC range which we admire but it has too steep learning curve for those users brought up on the PC. We also stock a range of high performance laptops for Business and Education environments.
